It should not be treated as a direct mechanical replacement. The IC5008 requires a 428 × 358 mm panel cutout, while the IC5005 uses a smaller 376 × 299 mm cutout. Engineers must also check mounting depth, connector clearance, power consumption and the resolution used by the existing HMI project.
