Product Overview

The GE IS200ECTBG1A board serves as a critical interface for managing both contact inputs and outputs within the excitation system. Specifically, the ECTBG1 variant is used exclusively in redundant (triple-modular) control architectures. It provides two dedicated trip outputs to drive a customer lockout relay (controlled by the EMIO board) and interfaces with four general-purpose Form-C contact outputs. The board also monitors six customer-supplied auxiliary contact inputs and the critical 52G and 86G breaker contacts, providing 70 V DC wetting power and status monitoring for all inputs. All monitored contact statuses are fanned out to the M1, M2, and C controllers for redundant processing.
